CUSTOM BLACK VINYL TOY-LINE 

Designing in three-dimensional space, I focused on merchandise. My decision to create a package for a 6-inch scale action figure. Inspired by the Star Wars Black Series’s toy line, their pristine black and red design caught my eye. Including detailed descriptions and illustrations of their characters, along with an interesting cut for the toy ’s display. Seeking help from the collector ’s community online, dissecting a package was to be made for the box’s measurements, cuts, folds, and glue lines. Using Adobe Illustrator, I combined shapes using the measurements and positioned them together. Extensive observation led me to design a layout of type using Indesign. Adding to the authenticity, I added symbols and warnings in numerous languages. Designing the package allowed me considerable amusement and when finalizing the layout. Using a character from my synopsis the Sons of Sunta Guana, an original story used from my magazine, was a great way to exercise my illustrative capabilities and fondness for creative writing. Baracus B Guana is a contradiction. Though being bold his private military forces are symbolized in an afro comb, despite not having any hair himself.
